Our bars are good complex carbs that are absorbed slowly in the blood stream. The benefit of this process is that it does not spike your production of insulin, therefore, you get sustained energy.
Jumpstarter BodyFuel Nutrition Bars are stirred by hand with spatulas and 4 foot long oars! Hand mixing is a lot of work but this makes a big difference in the texture and taste.
It also separates our bars from the rest of the bars on the market.
Linda Ikeda found that mechanical mixers turn the ingredients into a pulp like cookies. Most energy bars on the market are mechanically processed, but Jumpstarter BodyFuel bars are gently hand stirred.
It is partly due to this method that the taste is so good and natural.

FYI: When reading the nutrition facts of a product, the ingredients are listed in a specific order. The product contains the most of the first ingredient and the least of the last ingredient.
Most energy bars on the market are fortified with vitamins and some minerals which may not be naturally present in the main ingredients of the product. When vitamins and minerals are artificially added to a product and then subjected to the high heat of baking, up to half of the nutrients can be lost. This does not benefit your body!
